Like its predecessors, Professor Stewart's Cabinet of Mathematical Curiosities and Professor Stewart's Hoard of Mathematical Treasures, this is a miscellany of mathematical curios and conundrums - about 180 of them, arranged for variety - a book to dip into at any time. The topics range from one-liners to four-page mini-essays on buzzword topics from the research frontiers. Most are about half a page long, with lots of illustrations.
